Pressure is one of the four elements of the sterilization pot, the mercury thermometer is the eyes of the sterilization pot, then the pressure gauge is the ears of the sterilization pot. Each sterilizer must be fitted with a pressure gauge with a clear reading.

Pressure gauge selection requirements

1. From the benefit point of view of the operator's observation, the diameter of the pressure gauge dial should be ≥100mm.

2. The measuring range of the pressure gauge is 0~0.25MP. Because the sterilization temperature is 121 ° C, the corresponding pressure is about 0.1MPa, then the pressure gauge of the range at constant temperature working pressure pointer in the middle of the pressure gauge indicating range, so that it is easiest to see the change in pressure, but also to avoid the pressure gauge pointer due to the instant pressure increase.

3. Pressurized water sterilization products, the sterilization pressure can reach 0.2MPa, then you should choose 0~0.4MPa range of pressure gauge. The scale of each cell is 0.01MPa.

4. The pressure gauge is best installed in the temperature measuring chamber or pot body of the sterilization pot through the buffer curved pipe to protect the pressure gauge from sudden changes and damage.

Note:The pressure gauge should be checked once a year, and the measurement date and validity period should be affixed after the inspection.
