Steam Required of The Industrial Food Autoclave

customized retort model, support all of your demands
1. Sufficient steam supply is the premise to ensure the normal use of the sterilizer

If the steam supply in the sterilization room cannot meet the exhaust requirements, the heating time is prolonged, or the temperature in the sterilization retort fluctuates,

it means that the steam supply is insufficient.

2. Steam distribution cylinder

The steam distribution cylinder can detect the supplied steam pressure and remove the water in the pipeline. A special steam distribution drum is installed in the sterilization room to store part of the steam,

which can buffer and reduce the fluctuation of steam pressure during use. Reduce losses during steam delivery.

3. Steam pipe diameter
The supply of steam needs to consider the diameter of the steam pipe, steam pressure and the number of sterilizers used.

Therefore, the steam flow balance in the sterilization room can only be ensured if the steam flows through a certain pipe diameter under sufficient steam pressure.

4. Steam pressure requirements
How much steam pressure is required to meet the requirements? At present, there is no strict definition in the laws and regulations of various countries,

but the US FDA and the US canning industry generally believe that the pressure of the steam main pipe in the sterilization room should be kept above 0.6MPa.

5. Steam header
The steam main pipe is the steam pipe that provides steam to a group of sterilizers, and its diameter should be large enough to ensure that this group

of sterilizers can get sufficient steam even when they are heated to the sterilization temperature at the same time.

6. Steam control valve
Most of the steam in the sterilizer is controlled by a pneumatic angle seat valve, and the better effect is controlled by a pneumatic film regulating valve.

7. Steam bypass device
It is best to install a steam bypass device in the sterilizer, commonly known as a bypass valve. The main function of the bypass valve In case the automatic angle seat valve fails,

the bypass valve can be used to manually control the steam intake as an emergency operation to sterilize. Generally, the caliber of the bypass valve is larger than that of the

automatic steam controller, so when the bypass valve is opened, the operator must not leave the sterilizer, and the pressure inside the sterilizer must be kept secret to ensure safety.

8. Intake pipe
The diameter of the steam inlet pipe of the sterilizer must be large enough to ensure that a large amount of sufficient steam can be provided to the sterilizer within the specified exhaust time,

and the steam is introduced from the bottom of the sterilizer as much as possible.

9. Vapor diffusion tube

The steam diffusion pipe refers to the extension of the steam inlet pipe in the sterilizer, which is usually formed by drilling holes on the steam inlet pipe.

The steam diffusion pipe must be installed at the bottom of the horizontal sterilizer and run through the entire length of the sterilizer.

The steam injection holes should be distributed along the 90° range of the top of the pipe, that is, evenly distributed within the range of 45° on both sides

of the centerline of the top of the pipe [there are two rows of holes, and there are also three rows of holes, but the opening method of the holes should be asymmetrical.

It is good and supported by heat distribution test data]. For horizontal sterilizers with a length of more than 9.0m, two steam inlet pipes need to be installed and connected

to the steam diffusion pipe at approximately equal intervals.
